Cold coffee drinks?

Question

i was wondering how do you make a cold coffee drink right at home? i like those mocha bk joes from burger king and wanted to know how to make the stuff. anyone know?

i know that the mocha bk joe quantities are:

40%  coffee

40% vanilla shake mix

20% chocolate syrup

served over ice.

Frosty Miss

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup coffee

1/4 cup sugar

1/4 cup brown sugar

1/2 tsp almond extract

PREPARATION:

Dissolve sugars in coffee while it is hot. Let cool, and add almond. Pour into a metal tray and freeze until nearly solid. Beat well, then freeze again until it reaches a sherbet texture. Serve topped with whipped cream.

Coffee Latte Shake

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup coffee, strong and cold

1 cup cold milk

10 ice cubes

1/3 pkg of instant pudding mix (chocolate)

2 tbs cocoa powder

Hazelnut creamer, to taste

Sugar, to taste

PREPARATION:

Combine everything in a blender, and blend until ice is crushed and shake is thick.

what I do is...Make coffee... Let it get cold because it will scortch the milk and make it taste funny..

Get a large glass, add a flavored creamer.. I like caramel toffee, fill it about 1/4 of your glass, then fill your glass with 1/2 milk and then fill the remainder with coffee. Get a second glass larger of course, fill with ice and pour your mixture over the ice.

Mine taste just like the caramel iced coffee's from mcdonalds.

6 cups milk

1 cup chocolate syrup

1 1/2 cups cold coffee

1/2 cup sugar

1 cup whipped cream, opt.

Directions

Mix first 4 ingredients. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Add whipped cream last. Yield: Approximately 2 quarts. Serve very cold. Delicious!

- or just play with the amounts for a one cup serving - they taste a lot like the ones from Starbucks

Coffeemate and International have WONDERFUL liquid creamers you can add to coffee, with ice (and maybe ice cream) and put on the blender.  I had a White Chocolate Mudslide creamer that was SOOOO good!   They're near the milk at the grocery store......
