how do you know if you have a cold soard.. like what does it look like?

buy raw, unpasteurized honey (it has natural antibiotics,supplied by the bees to keep the honey from rotting in the hive).

put a dab on the sore, covering it thoroughly.

If you have a sore in your mouth, eat a teaspoon of honey, swirl it all around inside your mouth, hold it as long as you can, then swallow.

its on the outerside of your upper lip um pretty ugly lol rly contagious but you can use Abreeva cold core cream it helps ALOT and sooths it and makes it disappear a lot quicker

It can also be on the lower lip..slightly tingles. May be mistaken for a pimple in it's beginning stages. Abreeva can work. If you want to go natural, Whole Foods carries a line of essential oils called Simplers. They have a blend called Herp Aid. apply it as directed. If you have Essential oil of Lavender use that also If you can get oil of Oregano that is a kick-a$$ virus fighter. but make sure it's diluted in a carrier oil, like olive or almond as the direct application of the essential oil can irritate your skin. (I speak from experience in using it on my lip). Try not to poke it if it does develop into a blister. It can cause infection.

Lay low on acidic foods and drinks if you can...fried foods, wine, coffee to name a few.
