Cold water fish and food?

would it be ok to give cold water fish tropical food fish,, i ask as where i work they forget to buy fish food and i am always telling them off,, i thought they were tropical fish and fed that sort of food,then i found out they were all cold water fish,,will they be ok?

  1. Its fine for awhile but they should really have food formulated for their species. What kind of fish are they?

  3. Yes its fine nothing serious dont worry though its better to get them the proper food since it has the adequate nutritional values

    PS: they'll survive on tropical fish food

  4. what type of coldwater fish are they

    if there white cloud mountain minnows or coldwater danios tropical food is best

    if there goldfish they should realy have goldfish food
