  1. it seems you have a fever.

even though you feel cold your body is burning up.

I suggest not wearing all those blankets.

    take motrin.

  2. John D, this is a perfect opportunity for weak-minded smart-asses to try and make this question seem "stupid" so that they can further bolster their lack of identity and try to attempt to seem "smarter" than someone else. -When your body gets cold and you feel your skin is also cold, your blood cells are constricting, and moving to the inner-most area of your body to conserve heat and energy for your muscles. This vasoconstriction you experience after a hot shower, if accompanied by chills or sweating, is a sign of illness. If accompanied by nervousness, it is merely psychological. The solution? You need to warm your body from the inside, so that your blood can dilate and move outwards to warm your skin. Try a hot tea to start with, while you're covered with a blanket, with your feet submerged in a bucket of hot water. -As far as diabetes goes, it is highly unlikely that this is a possibility with you, for a hot shower would have caused a severe reaction in your body to possibly give you a seizure. If your mom, dad, bro or sis has a history of diabetes, then type 1 diabetes can be a possibility, especially if you experience sudden weight-loss, frequent urination and excessive hunger, but this type is usually hereditary. Since you are only 13, the chances of you having type 2 diabetes, which is the most common, is highly unlikely unless you're obese and experience blurry vision and sudden weight-gain. Solution? Excercise everyday to the point of breaking a sweat to prevent type 2 diabetes. -If it's just your hands and feet that are cold, then this is completely normal to experience as long as you don't feel them tingly with a headache. Don't take any conventional medicines, as this will only mask the symptoms, which you are trying to cure, not sedate... listen to your body, don't try to shut it up with conventional c**p.

  3. First, STOP the hot showers! (You'll wash away your body oils & eventually get dry skin problems.) Check out this free article:

See your doctor or your City/County Public Health Dept. & have your (fasting) blood sugar levels checked: you could be a diabetic or have other system trouble. On the other hand, you just might have contacted a virus.

If you're still having problems after 7-10 days of self-treatment, see a doctor. Good luck. :)

  7. It's called a blanket.

  8. Could be you are ill or you have a thyroid issue.  I would only worry if it continues for a couple of weeks.
