Coldstone, Cold Stone job?

I applied online for a job at Coldstone and they called me today and told em to come in anytime after 5 for a job interview, i went in, there were 2 other people filling out job apps, once i finished mine i talked to a woman and she asked me a few questions, just simple questions, nothing like "what do you bring to the team" and then when i was done talking to her she said to come in on wednesday for training at 4pm in a black shirt and black pants or black khakis and bring my social security and state id. I have been reading a lot about "auditioning" and singing and dancing at coldstone for the interview but is that what they are gonna make me do wednesay? Or did I just bypass that step?

They're going to start training you, probably on flavors and how to make the waffle cones. As for the I.D. they need them to make copy's for some reason I've forgotten.

It's a fun job if you're into making stuff. But the singing and all is for the tip songs. I know it's lame and I hated it because it seems like we're little beggars who'll sing a song for a penny. And people do give you just a penny and expect a song!

I'm a shift leader for a cold-stone in California, so I know a thing or two about hiring and stuff.

Trust me when I say that the auditions happen, but there are times when workers are needed so badly (probably due to staff shortages) that we hire who ever applies without making them go through an audition. I was in your place when I applied there, I pretty much got the spot without going through the audition (The things they make you do at the auditions are pretty lame, we lucked out! ha)

Oh and I dought they will make you go through an audition on Wednesday if they told you to bring a state ID and SS card, otherwise it would be wrong to make you bring such important documents.
