  1. plecs are good for eating the waste. these grow BIG though so try to find a bristle nose plec. mine are in cold water tanks because they are hardy... however its advisable you keep the tank warm as possible... IE dont place in the conserventy if you have one... it gets very cold in there during the night. living room is the Best place for them

  2. the w.c.m minnows should be kept in groups of 6+, and the goldies may snack on them when they are bigger. how big is your tank? dojo/ weather loaches are great cold water fish, i know pets at home no longer stock them round here as they consider them too difficult to keep alive, though i have owned them for years and had no problems. you can order them off the internet and have them delivered to your door. they are very friendly adn mine are now so tame i hand feed them, i hold an algea tablet and they swim into the palm of my hand to feed, they also enjoy to be stroked!!! just remember that goldfish will grow very large, and fancy goldfish need minimum 30 gallons, commons need minimum 55 gallons, just to allow them to grow out and not wind up stunted and dying premature painful deaths. hope this helps.

i personally would add a trio of weather loaches, they are social so should be kept in groups of 3 or more, they do a great job of eating any uneaten food which hits the bottom, will do your goldies no harm, and do a great job of stirring up the substrate and releasing particles into the water column for the filter to filter out. i will try to find a link to the online fish store and will post it up.

http://www.wholesale-tropical-fish.co.uk... this is just one site,if you search for 'online fish dojo' it comes up with a list of the sites.

  3. white cloud minnows are cold water...danios are tropical so no danios...but minnows should not be mixed with goldfish...cos that will stress the goldies..minnows are fast swimmers and the goldfish will try to keep up with it...and goldies being slow swimmers, it is not recommended to house both of them together...just stick to the 2 goldies and take good care of them...if they are fancies I hope they in a 40 gallon tank at least...and if commons I hope they are really in 60-75 gallon tank...actually they need ponds..but a big setup is a good start....and if this is the kind of setup you have then you are pretty much stocked...dont get any more fish...besides the above answer is good...follow it..

  4. Try researching in Big Al's on www.google.ca or PJ's Pets on google too. It will tell you if u have any Pet or Fish store near u.
