Bottled water is starting to get expensive and i was thinking about getting a Coleman water jug. If you dont know what i am talking about, a picture is here:

Recent medical reports show that some plastic water containers are made of harmful plastics that can leak chemicals into your water that leads to cancer. Now to the question: If you have any plastic container made by Coleman, look at the bottom of your water container. You will find a recycling triangle symbol on the bottom. Inside that triangle, please tell me what number is in the triangle. According to medical reports, water containers with numbers 3, 6, and 7 are dangerous.

If you dont have a coleman water container, i would also appreciate it if you knew any water jugs (more than 24oz please) that is NOT made of plastic numbers of 3,6, and 7.

  1. I don't have one but maybe you'd have better luck in  the baseball, football, or even fishing section. The fans and participants of those sports are known to carry those.

  2. Hey, lucky for you I do own one. To answer your question it's not dangerous. It has the number 2 on the recycle sign. I checked.

If you want to be sure why don't you just buy the metal water jug made by coleman? I'm not sure that it's more than 24 oz.
