Will it last?

Not worth the money, won't last, safe for what water / and location?

Cheaper inflatables, like the Coleman, aren't meant for any big water ...and it might last you one season.

If you'll just be putzing around on a pond, and don't really have anywhere to go, you'll have fun.  Make sure you both wear life jackets, and just use common sense.  I wouldn't float a river in it, and I wouldn't take it into ocean bays or anything like that.
