Wales boss, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chris-c9006 Coleman, went on to praise Joe Allen for making a mark at such a young age, after the midfielder was named Welsh Player of the Year this week.
The 22-year old has met stupendous success over the last 12 months. He played an important hand in helping Swansea City climb to the top division of English football, while at the same time playing the leading role for his country.
His remarkable stint at the Liberty Stadium caught the attention of the Merseyside club, which went on to spend 15 million pounds this summer in order to acquire his services.
Since then, he has made an impressive start to life at Anfield and has already staked his claim in the regular playing eleven.
Coleman could not help but praise Allen for everything that he has achieved so far during his brief career.
He was of the opinion that the talented midfielder is on track to become one of the greatest players in EPL, and claimed that he foresaw his success when he was just 16 years old.
“I can remember Joe when he first came through at Swansea when he had only just turned 16 – you could see even then he was going to be a real player,” the manager is reported to have said.
“What helps is that Joe is such a great character, very humble, lot of humility and never someone who gets carried away. He’s doing terrific, a super little player who is important to us.”
Allen has capped 10 appearances for Liverpool since arriving at Anfield in August. He has formed a potent combination in the centre with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nuri-Sahin-c28251, and is viewed by many as a vital player for the successful implementation of Brendan Rodgers’
‘tiki-taka’ philosophy.
