Colgate on Pimples....REALLY?

Question

I read somewhere that putting Colgate on pimples helps it go away. Sounds weird, but I wonder if it actually works. Does it?

Also if you do, do you keep it on all night or do you wash it off?

I tried it.  I left it on all night.  I got zero results.

i have colgate and I've looked up on the internet how to get rid of acne. first it says whitening toothpaste can leave scars, but i only have whitening toothpaste so hopefully they are wrong. so it says you have to clean your face really well. put toothpaste on your pimples (idk how much) and let it stay there for about 15 minutes. you wash it off and put alcohol on it and keep it there overnight. i only have those alcohol pads so i'll have to see if that works. goodluck

Instead of that, why don't you try putting antibiotic ointment on, (Neosporin).  One of the major contributors to pimply skin other than puberty is bacteria.

I have heard of this too. I even tried it once on one of those sore red pimples and it worked!

I'm not sure if it will work on whiteheads, and I know it won't work on blackheads. Just put a teeny bit on your pimple, and rub it in a bit. Yes, you do have to leave it on overnight.
