Not sure if I really understand the question, but here's some ways to save energy

Use CFL's vs. Incandescents

Don't run the Air Conditioner or set it a few degrees higher

Sell your car and buy a used 1989 52 mpg honda crx hf

But only drive it when it's too far to ride your bike

Cut back your water heater until the first time you ever run out then bump it up a little
