  1. you eed to file a law suit on your own in the itrim finding the lawyer to take case. you need to file in the  state the fire happened in, go to your local district court and file suit. you need to hurry before statue of limitations run out.

    then

make a very short and sweet vidio stating problem and need and post it on utube, before you know it you have too ma ny hits out the yang yang.  just make sure you do back round checks on the lawyer or firm and that they are able to practice law in that state of the problem.

    also

try calling your local tv channel help line, they love stuff like this and can most likrly help in finding you a good lawyer.

good luck, let me know how it goes.

  2. Did you carry renters' insurance?  If so, file with them.  If not, you'll have to sue the apartment complex and prove that the fire was their fault.

  3. Wow, sorry to hear about this! Hope it'll somehow work out. If you are looking for a lawyer try this site

http://locate-power-of-attorney.info/  you basically contact them with your info, they'll post it to their lawyers who will choose to offer their services (or not) and how much  it'll cost etc. you then choose who to hire.

Or you may choose to do nothing and it won't cost anything.

  4. did your family have a renters insurance policy?  if so they can file on it.  it covers their property inside the home.

you say the complex was at fault...what started the fire?  unless you can prove the complex was negligent, you will have a hard time getting a lawyer to take it on.  this is WHY you carry renters insurance.  more than likely somewhere in the lease it will state that you should carry your own renters insurance policy.  I'm so sorry for your loss
