Collecting 50 state quarters?

what is the best way to collect 50 states quarters ?. I have already have 41 states

Don't worry too much. You could only have collected 48 so far: Alaska and Hawaii have yet to be released. Also, 6 new quarters, for the District of Columbia and US territories, will be released in 2009.

For older coins you can find them fairly easily in circulation. If you can, exchange a paper note for quarters at a grocery store or other location where money is handled in large quantities. People will often do this for you for some of the smaller dollar values.

i would say the easiest way to get quarters that have recently came out would be to go 2 the bank

they will trade you for any other quarter

Honestly... just collect your pocket change at the end of each day and sort on through it.  I have 6 of each of the quarters out so far (collecting for my babies).

First  go to every state and ask for a penny. then go to a pawn shop within the state to trade the penny for a quarter. sell the quarter on ebay for double the worth saying that it was once held by Jon Bon Jovi and use the money u earn to cash in for more quarters, throw these quarters at a local bank and they will be forced to giv all of their forign money. with this currency go to czechoslovacia and give the money to the needy. Then you will get a coupon for 30 hours of community service by a man in a dark jacket who goes by the name jaun the farmer. GO back to america, into the greek embassy in Chicago Illinois, and a 4 foot scraggley bearded man will give you 3 random state quarters in exchange for your service hours. the remainder of the 6 quarters will be found in your trench coat pocket later the next evening
