  1. if you look all over like traash cans,on the ground, anywere it might take you a while

  2. First of all ~WHOAH~ 3,000 dollars? youve gotta be kidding me! It'll take you a lot of time but maybe a fund raiser or a "giving Box"

  3. Well, you need to collect 60,000 cans at 5 cents each.  I'm not sure that is realistic, however you might raise part of the money this way.  Maybe the best approach would be to do multiple things to raise the money.  Here are some thoughts:

-train for a 5km run and get pledges.  You may not raise $3,000 but you could probably raise $500 if you try really hard. You can look online for races in your community.

-Contact your local Rotary Club or other non-profit organizations.  If you make a nice letter and present it in person, they might be willing to sponsor part of your mission trip to Guatamala.

-Ask your neighbors is you can go their gardening/shovel their snow for them.  Explain that you are doing it to raise money for your mission and they'll be more receptive to "hiring" you (check with your parents to ensure they think this is acceptable because it is technically a job).

-Talk to your school teacher or guidance counselor to see if they have some ideas for how you can raise money within the school for this mission.  There might be bursaries available that you don't know about, or perhaps your classmates would be willing to do a carwash to help you raise the money.

  4. They don't pay for bottles in my state.  Aluminum cans pull about 70 cents a pound.  There are about 26 12-ounce cans per pound.  So for $3K you would need 4285 pounds of cans or 111410 cans.  You would have to find stadiums, factories, schools or large offices to collect that many cans.  By box do you mean a cardboard box?  You should think about getting those trailers that are made for can collection.

  5. Woah it will take you a long time, I would make up flyer's and put them up in your neighborhood for a bottle drive let them know an exact date to have them on the porch, do that a few times a month and maybe in a few other neighborhoods you can get to..

  6. Most places only pay you a few dollars per pound, so I suggets putting trash cans for collection everywhere you possibly can. Maybe try to put together a fundraiser event or a party? I wish you all the luck and God bless :)

  7. dude try something else cuz that aint gonna work very well
