College, i'm lost? some1 give me ideas?

Question

well im a senior in high school and all but idk wat college to apply to im thinking ucla and csu long beach as my first two choices but im not 100% sure yet. i want to major in either computer science or information systems so what is a good school for me. i have around a 3.3 gpa, i got a 22 on the act and im gonna take the sat in october and im the swim team at my school and i did a couple of other things in the volunteering/community thing

You have a better chance at Long Beach. Although it is more of a communter school. What about Cal Poly San Luis?? I don't think your grades are high enough for UCLA.

There are some smaller schools in the OC that are good too. Look at Concordia. They have a great campus!

I agree - you'd have a better chance at Long Beach.  I really do suggest you look into some smaller colleges though - jana's right on, some of them do have excellent programs.

UCLA is very choosy, and you don't really have the grades or test scores to go there.  However, there are other great schools around you - talk with your guidance counselor to see which schools would fit what you're looking for.
