College Apps/sending scores?

Question

One of the schools I am applying to has an application deadline in November 15 but later says that the SAT score report must be sent in by May 1. I am confused. do I have to send them the scores by the application deadline or the may deadline?? This is the case with a few other colleges I'm applying to. Nov. 30 deadline but January 1 SAT deadline. help?

You have to send in the application by Nov 15 but you are allowed to send the latest SAT scores thru Collegeboard.com by May 1.
