I'm staying at College of Eight at UC Santa Cruz. Though I did see it at the Summer Orientation, I'm still unsure about the life at College Eight.

What kind of people are at College Eight? What are they like?

Are there any parties at College Eight? If so, how is it?

  1. Well, I think college eight was fun...not too boring and not too exciting.  All the people I met at this college were very friendly.  There were not too many hardcore parties at the college, which could be a good thing or a bad thing depending on what kind of person you are.  The rooms are gonna be nice and sunny either in the morning or evening since there are not too many trees in this college, which was a h**l during hot days.  So make sure you bring a fan or something to cool the room down.  Dining hall food was ok but it's not like other dining halls have better food.  In the first quater everyone attends a 2hr lecture  in which you have different speakers every week. They are related to the core course.  Sun bathing was common in the lawns, which was nice. Plus depending on your room, you will most likely get a ocean view, which is nice.  As far as the activities go, college eight have plenty of them organized in which you can go and meet new people.  Plus you probably have seen that the rooms are nice and big compared to othr colleges. One bad thing was that most of the class rooms are pretty far compared to some other colleges. Also it was pretty diverse like you would see mostly white, Asians, black, Hispanic, and everything else. There are tennis courts, beach vollyball, basketball court and a baseball ground not too far. The girls were hot and the table pool in the cafe was s**y. I think you'll like it here.

PS- at night time you might hear girls moaning with pleasure...cough cough
