  1. well I wanna say h**l no

however if you had asked me last year if I though they could beat Michigan I would have said yeah right so anything could happen

personally I hope they pull off the major upest

  2. The fact that they've done it once tells me they won't do it this time.

The fact that they're playing LSU tells me they are in trouble, not LSU.

As far as the loss of star players...

Perriloux didn't play last year until post-season.

Dorsey was injured much of the season while his teammates ruled.

LSU doesn't rebuild - they RELOAD.

  3. i believe!

  4. I would say no. Don't forget that Appalachian State has FAR less talent and loses its best player, Dexter Jackson, along with other key starters (Corey Lynch, Kerry Brown, Kevin Richardson). Plus, the players at LSU are much easier to replace than the players at Appalachian State because the talent pool is deeper. There is always a VERY small chance they could, but I don't see it happening. LSU has much more speed than Michigan did to combat the spread offense, and they are much more used to seeing and defending against spread offenses than Michigan was. I think LSU rolls over them for an easy victory.

  5. LSU simply has too much talent.  Won't even be close.

  6. They say that lightning never strikes in the same place twice.  LSU will not take App State lightly like Michigan did last year.  No way App State beats LSU.

BTW, there is only one ASU, Arizona State University!  GO SUN DEVILS

  7. It is strange in college football. Anything can happen. Even the best team in the nation isn't safe at all. A no name team can come into any top notch college school and pull of an upset. It was proven last year more then once. So I'm going have to say that Appalachian State can pull the upset once again. Just remember on thing tho for LSU. They don't have the Defense Corriadortor that they used to have either in Bo Pelini........ Huskers are going  to rule once again here in the future...

  8. Of course they can.

However if their recent past against LSU is any indication then probably not. In 2005 they lost to LSU 24-0. They would have to significantly over that performance to win.

I do believe it will be closer. Appalachian State's overall talent has probably increased with the success they've had being the three-time national champion of their division.

If anything gives Appalachian State a serious chance at an upset is that LSU is very weak at QB. Also you can never put enough emphasis on coaching changes. LSU lost their defensive coordinator and replaced him with a co-coordinator.

I don't see an upset but I wouldn't be shocked at all by one.
