College Graduates: would you marry someone who only had a high school diploma?

Also, what gender are you? Thank you so much for taking the time to answer this. I am just asking your opinions. I will not think you are shallow if you say that you wouldn't. I just want to know your honest opinion. Thank you!!!

That would be highly unlikely... I'm on my way to Med school so she would have to at least have a B.A. to get my full attention. But anything is possible with love I guess...

well i'm female... and i'll be a freshman at college this year, but my opinion should still matter!

i would marry them if they did well in high school and were actually going somewhere in life. if they still worked at mcdonalds when i graduated and they were lazy bums that sat around and smoked pot or something than i wouldn't.

Female - I honestly don't know, but I'll try and give you my answer as straight as I can:

It would seriously depend - I mean there are plenty of intelligent people with darn great-paying jobs that just have high school diplomas. On the surface, no, no I wouldn't. But only because I'm the only one in my family that's gotten as far as I have educationally . . . I've seen what no diploma can make people struggle to do and I do not want that . . . That's my reason lol.

I'm a girl, and I'm very ambitious. I think love can conquer a lot of things. I either want to get my masters or an MBA. I would like my husband to share the same enthusiasm in work and providing for my family. It will be harder if you are the only one working, a lot of people do this but it would be a personal call. Is it going to bother you if your spouse has a subpar education. Is it going to bother you what other people think about that too? I am also traditional and I know it eats my boyfriend alive that his dad doesn't work and stays home.
