I'm going to be a Senior in High School this year. And I want to go ahead and start applying for grants and fill out the FASFA to get help paying for College. Because I don't really have any money saved for college and I need all the help I can get. Unfortuneltly I have noone to help me figure out how to do all this stuff for college. So if anyone knows of a sight or a number I can call for free to start getting help to get ready for college i would SOOOOO GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!!!

  1. Start with the booklet that I've attached a link to below. It's from the US Department of Education, and it's called "Funding Education Beyond High School: The Guide to Federal Student Aid". If it doesn't answer all your questions, it will help you figure out what else you need to know.

Have your parents read it, too, because it's a great introduction to the entire financial aid system, presented in an easy-to-understand format.

    Good luck!

  2. Talk to your high school guidance counselor. He/she would definitely give you info that you need.

You may also research on the different types of scholarships and grants so you can more or less determine which scholarships you can qualify for

  3. You can try to go to

    http://all-about-scholarship.com

    t's about scholarships/grants information.

    Good luck
