College Kids Going to Jamaica?

Question

Me and 3 friends all students are going to Jamaica for the 1st week of july and we are wondering what the best way to go is whether we should go all inclusive or just fly down and stay in a little hotel. Also what is the best city for partying if there is one and What do drinks run as far as beer, margaritas and so on.

For the beaches go to Negril!!! Beautiful!!! For partying i suggest Montego Bay!! There is this club by the beach that was awesome i just cant remember what it was called but the locals would tell you. Margaritaville was good also but the margaritas are sooo nasty!!! They have all types of beer red stripe is Jamaican beer and its really good. I drink that here. But they have all types of drinks also Rum Punch is good its jamaican rum and punch that is really popular there. I stayed at a hotel and bought my food and drinks. I figured i wasnt going to stay at the hotel all the time. I wanted to explore and eat at diffrent restaurants. Hope this helps

Go all inclusive especially if you are not from Jamaica. Definately go to Negril for beach and partying. Negril is the #1 party city in Jamaica, have fun in my country.

Why is everyone saying negril?..Kingston is where it's at.

Kingston (particularly New Kingston) has the best clubs and parties..Negril and Montego bay are just for tourists.Not the real Jamaica.If u need a beach then u have to go negril/ochi/Montego Bay.

If u choose to go Kingston they are hotels in New Kingston.Just stay above half-way-tree if u dont know the area.

Air+hotel package is always the best way to go because both combined in a package is always less expensive..The travel agent gets a lower airfare and a lower hotel rate for you.

Your hotel does not have to be an all inclusive hotel.  All inclusive hotels include meals and everything(water sports etc), and may be too expensive for you, eventhough drinks are free.

As for drinks, sorry I cannot help you there, but  the more expensive the less you will drink!  Call 1800 Jamaica for more information.

The younger folks love Negril and Montego bay for the action.
