College Maybe likely to be dominant in Sporting Press Irish Oaks Round 3 Heat 3 at Shelbourne Park
Wearing red jersey, College Maybe is geared up to bang her rivals in third heat of the Sporting Press Irish Oaks Round 3, scheduled to take place at Shelbourne Park on Saturday, June 09, 2012. The 525 yards heat will be kicked off at 22:00 (GMT).
The brindle b***h is in sublime form nowadays. Winning three of the last five contests at this venue shows how good momentum she is in.
The maverick b***h was not impressive in the opening round of the Oaks, falling third in the list. An embarrassing defeat could not dent her confidence though, as she demonstrated a great act last time around.
In the previous trip, she dominated the proceedings all the way through, grabbing the number one status by three lengths. Ballymac Maeve’s daughter covered the distance in just 28.53, which is far better than anyone else in this event.
Despite being in superb form, College Maybe will have to deliver her one hundred percent in order to bag the winning prize worth €100. The b***h is all set to face some big names, such as Tantallons Kay, Glenwood Pixie, Crossfield Tina, Domestic Lily and
Ballyverry Girl.
Tantallons Kay is another in-form hound, but her recent efforts were not as remarkable as College Maybe. The black b***h won four of the previous five races, but hardly faced such a strong opposition in any of them.
In her last outing, Head Bound’s daughter stopped the clock in 28.69 seconds, which is 16 seconds higher than College Maybe’s time. So, she will have to do something special in an attempt to grab the winning prize. The b***h will be among top three position
holders though.
Victories seem to have dried up for Glenwood Pixie, who has been unlucky over the past few weeks. Similar is the case with Ballyverry Girl, who was third in her last three races. Domestic Lily and Crossfield Tina are also unlikely to do any damage tonight.
The real battle will be between Tantallons Kay and College Maybe. The latter can be preferred, since she is crossing the wire a lot quicker. Good luck to all runners.
