College Olympic to turn things around in Sheffield Stadium Sprint
College Olympic was totally out of luck on reappearance, when ending up fourth on the table. But the black dog is surely capable of better stuff, and this makes us believe that he will come up with a solid run in the Sheffield Stadium Sprint, taking place
on Tuesday, April 16, 2012.
His previous run was a complete disaster. Soon after leaving the second trap, the son of Ballymac Maeve got badly bumped. And as a result, it was very difficult for him to make a winning move. M. Hurst’s charge made a fine solo outing prior to that.
Furthermore, the draw is massively in his favour. Wearing red jacket, the August-10 has almost every chance of getting the better of his rivals. The list of opponents includes Demesne Tornado, Bound Eyes, Bowtime Honcho, Gymstar Champ, and Stepaside Haribo.
The competition will be begun at 19:58 GMT. The ultimate champion will be given a handy prize of 200 pounds.
Bowtime Honcho, the veteran, may have to settle for another minor role. The black dog has not tasted success for a while, and this unlucky journey is likely to continue. Ahead of his second place here on March 26th, J. Sharp’s charge faced a few
embarrassing defeats.
Gymstar Champ did a great job in the trials, but the draw is not much kind. Therefore, the blue dog needs to do something extra special to make a race of it. Stepaside Haribo must be on his toes at the start or crowding looms. It would be extremely difficult
for the white and brindle dog to get a clear passage from the fourth trap.
Demesne Tornado is enjoying a patchy form, but has a good chance of returning to the winning ways. Prior to his fourth place last time around, the brindle dog won an open race by a short head’s distance.
Bound Eyes has built up a solid sequence of form figures. Yet, the white and black dog requires an improvement to be competitive in this company. He was third in his previous meeting at this track. We wish the best of luck to all the contenders.
