College Reward Visa Credit Card...A good idea for me?

Question

So my bank recently told me I was approved for a College Reward Visa Credit Card and I'm interested in applying for one but im scared, because im not very knowledgeable as far as 'credit cards' are concerned. What do I need to expect, or look out for if im considering this?

Im planning to meet with my bank next week concerning this so I wanted to get some outside opinions before I actually made the jump. Thanks! :)

ok since this sounds like you first card -- it will be ok --- i would suggest you use it only to help build up your credit and not "ruin" it -=- what you do is buy one tank of gas each month on the card -- as soon as you do write a check to the credit card company to pay for the gas once the bill comes!!!  i do not want to see a quesiton posted a year from now seeking help because the card is max out and you are five months behind on payments and want an way out!!!!
