College UK BTEC!!?

Question

Hi I live in mid Wales but there are no colleges around here that do the courses I want to do and the nearest ones are in England and far south wales, what do I do to find a place to stay as I can't travel there everyday as A I don't have my own car B. I would have to get up at 5.30 every morning and walk two miles into the nearest town and have 2 catch a bus which talks almost 3 hours to get there (goes around the villages but in a car it talks 1 hour lol) or a train which would be bad as they are really bad lol, so who should I see and what should I do as I still don't know what I am doing this september & time is going on lol have any of you experienced this problem? & please don't say JOB as I need my qualifications and I kinda stuffed my GCSE'S up only 1 c grade GCSE lol but im not dump just had a terrible time at school where I was going through depression (think if i didn't mess up I would have been going to uni lol) any advice please?

cadets such as army, sea and air cadets offer numerous BTEC courses.

there'll be buildings for the cadets in mid Wales.

i wouldn't turn it down if you really need the qualifications.

and in college, it'll take about a year to complete. (depending which diploma you take as 3 are available)

at cadets, you're taken through a crash course and it's completed in a weekend.

i've completed two myself.

BTEC Music - First Diploma.       Passed with a distinction (which means i've got the equivalent of 4 A* GCSE's)

BTEC Public Services - First Diploma.    Passed with a distinction.

So out of school (although i've recently finished), i've already achieved 8 equivalent GCSE's at A*.    ^__^

i would honestly advise it.

and if you ARE planning on eventually going to uni, do a Duke of Edinburgh  

at cadets as it'll raise your UCAS points apparently.

seriously. fully advisable path.
