College bill due Aug 1st, but loan disbursement is for sept 18th?!?!?

Question

My requested disbursement date was the 23rd of july, or yesterday, and today I got my loan information from sallie mae and it says that the loan disbursement date to the school is september 18th....

I am really confused as to why they are disbursing it over a month past when my bill is due.

Can anyone offer any help or answers as to why this is..

Ive already emailed sallie mae about it and I am waiting to hear back, Im just really stressed that my college wont let me go if the funds arent to them by the first day of classes, or a huge late fee or something.

And its the same way for the spring semester, its 2 months past the due date for spring....
