College campus living?

Does anyone know of any colleges in New England that do NOT require they're students to live on campus?

Generally if you have an actual reason why you don't need to be in the dorms you can fill out some paperwork to opt out of it.

I'm from the West Coast but as far as I know you don't have to live on campus as a freshman at any college. If you plan on living off campus your freshman year check out the neighborhoods in which the Campus is surrounded by. I know sharing a room with someone doesn't sound like fun but its the best thing you could do as a freshman. You meet so many people and its the best way to make contacts and network. Do yourself a favor and live on campus.
