  1. It just shows you that choosing your life's course is a BIG decision and not to be taken lightly, i know different circumstances breed different opportunities but mostly younger people should follow the guidance of a positive ADULT role model, be it parent, teacher, aunt, uncle, councilor, it can make all the difference in the rest of your life.

  2. Things like that just happen, but I wouldn't stereotype and guess it happens to every geek or town boy.

  3. College changes everything. In High School, of course the most pretty girls were the ones who made to the cheerleading team, they were the girls that everyone wanted to date.

In college its different. Its not a popularity contest anymore. In college, its your grey cells that matter. The one who can solve Bernstein's Equation is the one everyone looks up to when they need help. And suddenly, nerds aren't nerds anymore. They re no longer outcasts, but rather more like crown princes. They don't have to keep looking down, hoping that the school bully won't notice them or the high school football jocks won't manhandle them or be made fun of by the cheerleading/pretty/hot girls, whose opinion is what most of the school looks upto blindly anyway. They walk with their heads held high.

As for those pretty cheerleading girls who loved to party all night long, I'm not sure, perhaps they spent too much time partying that their GPA scores weren't good enough for them to be accepted into college. So perhaps they decided to get married while they were still pretty, instead of waiting around till were 30, had no degree, only a waitressing job and no longer had their pretty looks with them to boast of. That ain't exactly a male-attracting description. And kids come along with marriage.

College sure is tough, girl !

  4. What's going on is that you were judging people you didn't really know. That's all there is to it. People graduate and start lives...all make different choices. Looks don't determine whether or not a person wants to be a mother or an athlete.
