College dorm sheets and advice?

my Daughter is leaving next week for her freshman year at college,the bed's there are twin xl does anyone know if a full size sheet would fit length wise?I live in a very small town and dont have much variety here.also is there any advice for a first timer would be appreciated.

I think I got one set of twin XL sheets and then decided to try the jersey-knit ones on a whim.  At least the regular twin ones I got years ago would stretch out fine, and you can usually find those pretty easily almost anywhere.  They may still even work later on a regular twin bed again if you're halfway nice to them -- mine do.

HI there, yep, most dorms have those extra long mattresses, I can't figure that out. lol I found mine at Wal Mart actually but that was 16 years ago. You could look online for stores that sell Twin XL sheets, you may have to travel a bit to a larger town with a mall or larger stores but they shouldn't be too hard to find since most college dorms have those beds. Try Wal Mart though, they carry everything! :)
