College grants??

i am planning to go to ivy tech this fall or spring semester.. where can i get grants to attend?/ i would like to start asap but i do not that the money... i applied at fafsa and they said i cant get any because my dad made to much money last year.. he has not been working since october of 2007.. so my parents dont ahve money for me either?? where can i get some money for school??

anyone can get financial aid from fafsa regardless of parents income in the form of student loans.  Your letter prob said you did not qualify for the Pell grant, not that you were totally ineligible.  call the schools fin aid office and ask what you need to do to take out a Stafford loan.. also look for a job.
