College help PLEASE!!! best answer gets points?

Question

im looking for a college in like mass or ny ... i live in ct now and i wanna get out.. but not too far away..

i get As but mostly Bs.. i take all college prep classes in highschool

im thinking of studying either psychology, sociology, or journalism..

I dont want any Ivy League school.. & not super expensive.

Anything helps. No website links please.

University at Buffalo - great school, its a major research university. It has a good social scene, very diverse school. It is ranked in the Top 150 schools in the country, I believe they ranked 118.

Another is St. Bonaventure, its a private school, a tad expensive but it can be done for cheap with loans and scholarships. I graduated in 2002 with only $20,000 in loans..not bad for an 18,000 a year school. Bona's is a family oreintated school.Your friends will be friends for life, I met my fiancee there 2 years after I graduated,
