Question:

College help?? im realllyyy confusedddd

Im going to be a senior this year in HS and ive got a 2.7 GPA and people advise me to go a community college first and get good grades and then transfer to a better one..does that mean i have to do four more yrs at another college? after completing my 2 yrs at a community college or just the remainder of the 2 yrs at some diff college???

  1. You will graduate with an AA (Associate of Arts)degree from junior or community college and then after fulfilling two more years' requirements at a four year school, you will get a BA, BS (Bachelor of Arts or Science) or whatever.  Unless you mess up, miss credits or otherwise need more time.  I know people who took five years, but graduated with intense double majors and three minors!  And I also know some who took six or more years. . . .they just didn't want to have to find a job and move out!!!!

I am a junior in college at a 4 year university, and i would suggest you should go ahead to a community college and try to get a really high GPA and then transfer to your preferred school, and no you will only need to be at the 4 year college for 4 more years, just for however many years you have left.
