College in England?

Well i will be attending college in a few months for two years here in CT. Then i want to study abroad for journalism in England. Is that possibly? how would i go about do this?

  1. Yes it is possible.  I'd recommend looking on www.ucas.ac.uk.  UCAS is the central admissions agency for attending university in this country and it lists all of the universities and the courses they offer so it should give you an idea of what is available.  As you're coming from abroad it might be worth emailing the individual universities that you're interested in to check for things such as their entry requirements, fees, etc. as these will be different for international students.


  2. If you just want to study abroad then there is a great program that focuses on Business, fashion, journalism, etc called American Inter-Continental University. It is right in central London and they help you get great housing deals and the credits transfer back to American universities very easily because it is run by an American parent company. The professors are all British though. There are people from all over the world that attend the school and it was a blast when I went there. It was probably one of the greatest experiences of my college career. Here is the site for AIU-London so you can read about it and see if you like it.
