College problem(my future depends on ur help and answers)?

hey hi every1 hope ur college thingy is goin on good but well i am in a great problem.....

the thing is that i postponed my SAT exam....from september to october...and now i knw the september session has started and most of the seats have been fillled....in repsected univ and well there will be few seats available for the january session so i think i that my probability of gettin in a goood college/univ is meak.....so well now i dunno shuld i drop one year and well then apply in the septemmber session of 2009 as i think (not guartenne myself) that i will get in a good univ so please shower in some thoughts into my problem and my future please jsut help me out to what to do?

1.umm well my GPA is like 3.6 or so and well i can get SAT score upto 1800 or 1900

2.I shuld tell u that i am livin in india and well me immigrating to usa with my family by spetemer or october

If you can handle another year or preparation, you might have a better chance. Not to be rude, but right now your chances of a "good" university aren't that great.

You have a low GPA, and if your SAT score isn't even at an 1800, then you have some serious work to do. Put in lots of effort over the next year and try again.
