  1. They are there to learn, and I assume to learn stuff they didn't already know. If they already knew everything what would be the point in spending money to hear someone tell you what you already know? So if the teacher is supposed to teach, and the student does not yet know, then it would make sense to believe the one teaching the information.

  2. i always  thought of my college professors as regular people who studied a particular area,  never as someone who can never be wrong. I especially hate the way some of them will make you buy their over priced books just so they get royalties from the sales!!!! It like by all means, take advantage of poor, struggling college students to make your pockets fatter!!!

  3. I agree with you.  Just because they are a Professor doesn't mean that they are perfect, nor do they know everything.  Yes, as a student, we put a lot of trust in their teaching abilities, but the reason we study at all is so that we can learn it ourselves.  The Professor puts us down a path, and we need to figure things out for ourselves.  No silver platter option here.

We do need to think for ourselves.  If we do not, we will not progress.

  4. I don't think people think the professors are always

right but they may think they have to act that way in

front of the prof. Some professors like to intimidate,

but good professors learn from their students as well.

  5. Well, if they don't believe they're right, they usually won't try to argue with the professor, because he/she holds the student's grade in his/her hands.

  6. well, they are the teachers. if you know something already, you should test to prove your capabilities and wont have to take the class. but, like i was saying they are the teacher they are there to teach, and you are there to learn. if you are skeptical of the teachers lessons, should you really be taking the class? i give most of my teachers the benefit of the doubt, but still do not believe everything they say 100%. and it's not being gullible, it's just doing what your supposed to, there to do, and paid for.

  7. Your college professor is always right; if you care about getting a good grade.

  8. Hopefully as the curriculum goes they are accurate... However, lots of liberal professors like to spread their ideology onto students, which is wrong.

  9. The more c**p they put on the board the less they know. I have had professors explain technical problems and make more sense than others that fill the board with many equations, and graphs while the class looks on in total confusion.

Quality and not quantity from teachers/professors is superior in every way.

  10. Gosh, thanks for the chuckle Shoreke.

Truest answer I have read tonight.    Freaking funny and so true.

Asker:  Just barf back what they lecture and then go on with life.  KNow the professors are mostly full of c**p and are more in love with the sound of their own voices than the truth.

You want the truth while in school?  Go get a paper and turn to the sports and stocks page.

  11. That's a vast and untrue generalization of college students.
