1. you will need to go to www.fafsa.ed.gov and fill out your FAFSA, after your FAFSA is completed they will send the report to the University of your choice and the University's financial aid counselor will let you know what you are eligible for.

You can also just look around on the FAFSA website to see what types of things you are eligible for, but first you need to fill out your FAFSA so you can get your EFC (estimated family contribution) number then you will be able to see what you are eligible for.

    Hope this helps! Good luck!!

  2. There are many scholarships on the FAFSA site but you may also go to your schools career center/office and ask them for specific sholarships and they will let you know about all the details. If you find the scholarship online, than the daedline and the eligability should be provided.

  3. Your best bet is going to be to find a scholarship through the college you plan to attend. Some colleges offer scholarships based on test scores and/or GPA. Apply for these EARLY as they are only given as funds are available.

Other colleges have more competitive scholarships, but you would still have a good chance of getting these.

You can always apply for the ones that require essays, letters of recommendation, etc. as well, but your chance of winning one is normally not very high. Still, it doesn't hurt to apply.

And of course, fill out the FAFSA online. This is the only way you can get FREE money (grants).
