  1. doesn't matter.  Carry what you absolutely need to class.  Campuses are huge so you will do alot of walking.  Thse 3 books sound like a good idea at first but become h**l when you have to walk up hill.

Travel light and with what you need.  People carry all sorts of bags, purses...whatever.  No one cares...

  2. i think its s**y to see a girl who cares about her studies and carries a purse too... or the super big purses are bomb too!!!

  3. Yes, why wouldn't it be?  I did that all last year, and while as it was a little bit harder, it wasn't a problem at all.  Besides, its a little harder to fit your keys and/or wallet and anything else in the bottom of your backpack/messenger bag/book bag rather than in a purse.

  4. carry a cute bag instead of a backpack like a lesportsac or longchamp tote

    it's stylish and practical!

  5. I did.  But then I went to a pretty preppy school and I dress well every day so the purse made sense.  The backpack was for my laptop - which I took to campus every day to avoid walking home and back all the time.  Most people who lived off-campus did this.  Just see what most people at your school do.

  6. Why wouldn't it be? I'm not sure I understand.  Do whatever feels most comfortable and don't worry about what is deemed "ok" and "not ok."  Just do what you want!  And have fun!

  7. Not really. Most girls carry really big purses instead of backpacks.

  8. Sure is!  If you’re going to have to do a lot of walking though, it’s probably not a good idea to have one of those huge purses.  I just have a small-ish one that I often take to school (you know, to keep chapstick and car keys and money stuff from sinking to the bottom of the bag and getting lost or hard to pull out quickly).  I can fit it right inside of my backpack, either in a separate zipper/pocket area, or on top of my textbooks and folders for when I’m walking around campus, so that there’s only one bag to worry about then.  During class I can keep it inside the backpack or take it out and stuff it under the desk.
