I am not the one to eat out much, unless I am too busy with work and also study.

So, list foods that you buy that can last a while, and are both okay and fulfilling, it can be healthy, to un-natural(not organic) as long as it's not Soda, than were okay.

lol.

  1. My husband and I are going to be attending school at the same time. We'll mostly be eating:

    Sandwiches (tuna, pb, lunch meat)

    Hot Dogs

    Soup

    Mac/Cheese

    Ramen Noodles

    Cereal/Oatmeal

    Veggies (Frozen)

    Rice

    Pasta/Sauce

We'll also be mixing meat in when possible. It's cheaper if you buy in bulk. We're going with Costco for now.

  2. Oatmeal, Ramen Noodles, Sardines, Peanuts, Peanut Butter and Pasta are the things I stock up on

  3. Buy a loaf of bread, which can last at least a week or two, along with toppings you like (meat, cheese, peanut butter, jelly, etc.)

  4. Go to Sams Club or Costo and buy in bulk...it will last much longer.

  5. Get a rice cooker with a steaming tray.  You can eat rice and steamed veggies.  Not the most delicious meal but it costs less than 5 dollars and last u a bit.

  6. Here's what we do in my home country: eat lots of soup! It's low on calories, has tons of vegetables and nutrients, and fills you up! not the campbells chicken soup, though. homemade. That's what I ate in college (among other things) and you can make a pot that lasts for a week. It's 1) cheap and 2) delicious.

I also made spaghetti with tomato sauce (making the spaghetti is easy. Just put it into a pot of boiling water) and the tomato sauce can be bought.

And last but not least, vegetables in packets that you get from the frozen section of the grocery store, and fish chips (not real chips, they're like chicken nuggets except for the chicken you have fish. Like fish nuggets.)

Just make sure that the foods at the store don't have trans fats, and that you check for sodium and sugar levels. Oh. And instead of getting bottled water, to save money, buy a filter. It doesn't have to be expensive. What I had was a water filter pitcher. The water tasted SO much better, and it was great on my wallet. Good luck!

ps: Fiber One bars are pretty satisfying, healthy and keep you full. The same for Kashi bars, although I don't like them as much. You can find both varieties in the cereal bar aisle.
