My schedule for college isnt exactly balanced... I will be going 4 times a week and on 1 of the days i have 4 classes and only 5 minutes in between each class... is that too much to handle in one day?

  1. No it might seem overwhelming at first but as a fulltime college student this is the minimal class schedual possible. You will get used to it. It can be stressful at times but it will be just routine after the first couple weeks or so. Good Luck!

  2. No, it's not.  Everyone has rough semesters, you should be thankful that after that day is done, the rest of the week is easy. You will learn to pace yourself, and that's a great skill to have in college. Make sure you bring plenty of snacks to class, because you'll need the sugar to keep your  brain working (your brain ONLY metabolizes glucose). Sit in the front of classes when you start to feel "tired" to keep yourself more involved in the material.

    It's not impossible. Good luck.

  3. Why don't you try it and see. At my college we have a few days at the start of the semester to try our schedules and classes before a deadline comes up where we can change our schedules with 100% money back for a dropped class.

  4. that is fantastic not a burden. i will be a college freshman, and i have classes that are one and even up to two and a half hours apart from each other. That means that i have so much down time. I will be commuting, it takes me a hour to get there, which means the longer i have to wait to go the h**l home. and there is no point in going home then coming back, so i will wait around for a while and twiddle my thumbs. i wish that i had your schedule.

  5. to kelsy:  down time?!  You've got to be kidding.  you'll soon find out that you'll need that time to study.  I'm a junior in college, and I've had my fair share of time in between classes, and have found them very useful to get reading done.

but to the person who wrote this question:  you're in college now and taking 4 classes is usually the minimal for full time.  Again, welcome to college. But honestly, college is MUCH better than high school.  Good luck to you both! :)
