Is there any difference between the two? If so, what is it?

  1. Colleges tend to be more narrow in their course offerings > which is good for anyone wanting to specialize in a particular discipline.  

    But colleges do not always offer advanced degree programs either.  


  2. not much except universities usually have more funds and cooler stuff. i go to a private college, its real nice and homey like a high school, but less majories and less clubs and just less of everything. however where they  have what you want to study, you can do well at either

  3. universities are compromised of smaller schools called colleges. for example - college of arts or science.

    however, a college that is not associated with a university is just a smaller college.

  4. Universities award graduate degrees.
