College volleyball recruiting?

what age do you have to be in order to be evaluated for playing college volleyball? don't you have to be a junior or something? sophomore? i forgot.

  1. I've been talking to colleges since I was a sophomore.


  2. You could start contacting the colleges in your sophomore year.  If you are playing club and your team is playing in any qualifiers, you can tell the colleges.  They may or may not try to look at you at that tournament.

There's always an opportunity for scout's to gain interest in recruiting you.  They might see you play when your a sophmore, but it's really your junior and senior years that count.  Senior year is typically when they try to recruit you to their college, but if your good enough they'll notice you earlier.
