K it's my senior year in high school and i'm still debating where i want to go to college and what i want to major in. art and foreign languages are my strongest subjects in school.

im thinking something like advertising would be a good option. but ive noticed everything is converted to graphic design.. what happened to free hand drawing? if i want to go into commercial art am i expected to learn how to do everything on the computer?

What are some good schools for advertising art or anything along those lines?

any help is greatly appreciated :]

  1. with advertising, you're still good to use storyboard drawings and designs pre-computer, it would be easier all around for final drawings to be converted to computer for printing process, graphic design does cover the visual advertising aspect, not really the business management at start, look at course outlines for details,

if you think you're more interested in drawing instead of designing, you may choose to look into fine arts,

foreign languages is very good idea as well, if you're good with linguistics, continue on building a portfolio with goals in mind,
