  1. You might want to go to the University of Panama but keep in mind that they are very selective and I highly suggest that you make some copies of report  cards, from high school, along with your diploma and have it authenticated at the Consulate of Panama where you do live.

  2. There are some like Ulacit and some other universities that you can enter provided that you have an excellent grade point average from the United States..

  3. You can find a BA in Tourism in most colleges and universities in Panama City, Panama nowadays.

The oldest is the University of Panama.  It's public owned, and it's cheap (way cheap).  However as most public universities in Latin America, they are the first to protest, and take to the streets.

The Catholic university is the USMA.  Not as cheap as the University of Panama, but cheap compared to any US college.  They are more calm, and rarely protest.

Those two are the legacy universities in Panama City.

ULATINA is newer, but they have a nice university buildings (only the University of Panama has a real campus).

ULACIT is also good, they have a nice building and plenty of parking.  I have a friend that studied tourism there, and was pleased of the system.

Those are the ones I recommend.

There are other colleges if you want to do some research:

    - Universidad Interamericana

    - Universidad Americana

    - Universidad Panamericana

    - Universidad del Istmo

Also Florida State University and the University of Louisville also give college classes in Panama City.  FSU uses the facilities that housed the old Panama Canal College, and UOL has their building in the Bella Vista area of Panama City.

    Hope it helps.

  4. well you can perform a degree in tourism at Panama university the only problem that you'll need to face is the spanish because the classes are taught in Spanish, however if you can´t get in at Panama university you can study in a private university like usma, ulacit, etc.

did you try to find out at Lousville and Florida university?
