  1. No, public school is just cheaper if you're a California Resident. Private schools have the same fees. Maybe if you get scholarships, you could decrease your tuition fee. You will have to pay for vet school.

  2. You'd have to pay for everything!  Good luck!

  3. No, it's not true. The UC and CSU schools, run by the state of CA, do not have "tuition", they have "fees". Call it what you will, but these schools are far from free. CSU fees plus room and board are about $18,000 per year and UC's total about $25,000.

Vet school is graduate school, it's not free either and costs more than the above undergrad costs.

  4. nope

    but

in-state tuition is far lower than out-of-state tuition.

don't know how old you are, (high school?) but any school you attend is going to demand some prerequisites, and for vet school you'll need some college math, microbiology, chemistry, etc. Becoming a vet, you should also consider taking some business and accounting classes.

These are things you can do at a junior college, far less expensively than at a 4-year school. When you choose a vet school, entering with your prerequisites intact, (English 101, 201, Algebra, Microbiology, a foreign language, and others) will be a big help.

E-me if you wish to tell me more about your situation so that I can address specific questions more thoroughly...B
