Is it true that there is a list of schools getting rid of tuition (because of the large endowments), and if anyone knows where to get the list? Thanks for any help!

  1. Yes it's true. Top schools like Harvard, Princeton and Yale, Stanford, etc.... are waiving tuition and loans to people making less than 100,000 (or so).

  2. Yes it is true but it is only from most top/Ivy universities. Also, don't be fooled. Only 11% of those who apply actually go to school tuition free. So not every student from a family making under 100 grand a year will get free tuition. It's almost like playing the lottery.

Not only that but you'd have to wonder what kind of academic pressures come from getting free tuition and there are probably tons of little ways that it could be revoked.
