Collingwood or Saints on Saturday?

Question

The 'Woods have copped a shellacking recently. Maybe just enough to do one of two things - drive them more deeply into the doldrums, or cause a massive performance to show everyone what their fighting spirit is all about. A razor's edge job, one thing or the other.

I will be plugging for the Saints.

It's about time that Collingwood were pulled in a peg or two. They have been given such favourable consideration & treatment by the AFL for so long it has become a bit tiresome.

I just have a gut feeling that the Pies will be very strong against the Saints and do the right thing by their club and win.  They have been in a bit of a slump like the Swans and are due to turn things around and there is a lot hanging on this game and with all the hype going on well I think they'll give their supporters something to be proud of.  Sorry I just asked a similar question re the same issue and hadn't realized you had just asked this question.

I think because of all the c**p Collingwood have gone through during the week the saints will get up, The pies have been through a hard week and i can't see the players letting that go i think saints will win by 35+

In my heart I hope that the innocent players who have done nothing wrong can play a great game on Saturday, for all of those supporters (like me) who are very disappointed in Shaw and Didak's actions.

I would be very surprised if Collingwood won this one! There are few focal points up forward and now one of their best crumbers is gone! Cloke would really have to stand up and he has struggled the last week or so. Height will be an issue for Collingwood all over the ground and the backline will have their work cut out for them. Couple this with Harvey announcing his retirement and I think you will find a fairly "fired up" Saints team.Add to this the week's issues and I feel it may be a "no brainer"
