Question:

Colloidal silver or medical doctor?

I feel as though I have been fighting off a slight cold for a couple days now. And just yesterday I had to visit a doctor for pink eye (in order to get antibiotic drops). She said it just looked like allergies inside my nose. But then last night I developed an itchy throat and a small cough. And tonight my cough has gotten worse, and my throat itches whenever I breathe out. Not to mention that when I blow my nose it is now officially green and not runny. My problem is I lost my job (I am supposed to start a new one on Monday), and therefore I no longer have any money or insurance. And I am worried that my cold may now be turning into a sinus infection. Would it be safe to take a colloidal silver supplement 2-3x a day for 10 days (same as I would with a prescription antibiotic)? It is just too tough for me right now to see another doctor, but I tend to get sinus infections several times a year (I have already had 2 since January). And if this is still a viral cold infection, will it be effective against the virus? Can I take it along with my antibiotic eye drops, and my birth control? What if I am asthmatic? I am trying little by little to eat more natural foods and take more natural supplements. Would you advise me taking colloidal silver or not?

PS. I tried a nasal spray earlier this year for a slight sinus infection, which seemed to go away but came back a few weeks later (in which I needed an oral antibiotic). Would I be able to use the same nasal spray, or is the spray and/or tip contaminated because I have already used it?

Thanks and God bless.

  1. You should take the silver, there are no long-lasting side-effects to it.

  2. If you can buy a Propolis spray or liquid Propolis and use this in your nose and throat twice a day for one week to 10 days, you will probably (as I did) get rid of your sinus infections once and for all.

Propolis is a natural antibiotic, and quite powerful. It should be part of your natural pharmacy (alongside Grapefruit Seed Extract and Bentonite) so that you always have it when you need it.

All the best of health to you and I wish you a sincere "good luck" with your new job!

  3. Colloidal silver is only mildly effective, and your skin can turn a permanent blue/gray from using it. Remember that Libertarian nut during the Y2K scare? His photo was all over the news from colloidal silver.

Find a family doctor you are comfortable with, and take their advice.
