The 23-year-old versatile player has departed second tier side FC Koln after he suffered violence at the hands of crazy supporters in front of his house last week.
FC Koln manager Holger Stanislawski conceded that the defender http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kevin-Pezzoni-c20762 was ambushed and manhandled by the club fans and as a result has left the German club. The former Blackburn Rovers youth academy product
was allowed to terminate his contract with the club on Friday considering the group assault at his home by the young hooligans.
The hate group attacked the youngster by surprise in front of his home last week, bullied the footballer and blackmailed him to give up playing for Cologne.
"A group of people ambushed him outside his private residence this week, roughed him up and really threatened him," said Cologne coach Stanislawski.
The tactician believes this is just wrong behaviour and it should be punished. He stated that the attackers left him a message that they were going to come for him again, so that he should be on the lookout. The 42-year-old said
that these people have pushed all limits of sanity.
"That is just not acceptable and can't ever be so. They left a note on his car and made it clear they wanted to really hurt him," he mused.
The talented player signed for the club in 2008 from English Premier League side Blackburn http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 youth international
stated that he was in danger of getting hurt at the former Bundesliga outfit.
"He told me that every ball he played meant more to him than just not making a bad pass. That is not acceptable (for a player)," added the coach.
"I am delighted to read how much understanding there is for our decision and how much incomprehension there is for bullying and verbal abuse," he finally concluded.
The defender c*m midfielder said he was so afraid that he was always making sure that he made the right pass rather than committing a mistake, so that he would not get threats from the angry supporters.
