  1. American values and traditions: Lets get the British to protect us from the French, Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch, but when they done that lets repay them by throwing their tea into a river and declaring Independence. But because its obvious we're going to get our asses whooped lets change sides and ally ourselves with the French, Spanish, Portuguese and Dutch. Yay we have Independence. Now lets wait until 1812, and declare war on Britain while they are fighting against Napoleon in Europe and lets annex the colony that will become known as Canada. Oh dear despite them fighting another war at the same time the Brits still managed to kick us out of Canada and burn down the White House. Oh well, lets just teach our children that we won anyway, because we're American.
