im looking at a 1652 pine tree coinage on line to buy. It is a great deal, but it looks a little different than in my coin blue book. Do u think they made them looking a little different everytime they made them, they had to do it by hand. Should i buy it? thank you.

  1. Colonial coins due to the way they were made do differ. I would never buy one on line, for there are a lot of copies out there. On an item like that, a coin dealer with a solid reputation is needed and a guarantee in writing that it is authentic. No one sells such a coin at a bargain price unless it is a copy.
